Series 7100 CW: Medium-Duty

  • Designed for laminar, non-turbulent horizontal airflow
  • With linkage-free system and Tamco designed and engineered counterweight system
  • Blades are not connected by linkage thus each blade operates independently of one another.
  • Natural blade operation due to static pressure differential and airflow velocities, not through mechanical assistance. This damper is not suitable for use with an actuator.

Series 7100 CW Medium-Duty, Maintenance-Free Counterweighted Backdraft Damper:

  • Ideal for air handler unit exhausts
  • Perfect for fan intake systems
  • Where a true backdraft damper is required

Air leakage through a 24″ x 24″ (610 mm x 610 mm) counterweighted backdraft damper does not exceed 5.55 cfm/ft² (28.2 l/s/m²) against 1 in. w.g. (0.25 kPa) differential static pressure at standard air.

MR – Moisture Resistance Option:

  • All zinc-plated steel hardware is replaced with stainless steel, protecting hardware from rust and corrosion when exposed to high humidity or high moisture environments.

SW – Salt Water Resistance Option:

  • Extruded aluminum frames, blades and hardware are clear anodized to a depth of 0.7 mil. (18 microns). This prevents rusting and pitting when backdraft dampers are exposed to salt spray or high humidity environments.
  • All zinc-plated, steel hardware is replaced wtih stainless steel, protecting hardware from rust and corrosion.
